The Listener Project
 

One of the best live acts I've ever seen. This band is exciting and original, and once you start to put all of their lyrics together, they reach another level of brilliance. They hilarious, while still keeping an edge of bitting social commentary with Tom Waitsian story telling.
And, they use a washing machine and mallet for percussion.
