I don't even hate Disturbed that much really. I actually used to dig their first album. But "Dropping Plates" just deserves to be mocked. Who told them that was a good song? Someone had to have said, "You know what Dave, all those people with taste and common sense just don't get this song, you need to just tune them out (possibly by sticking your head all the way up your ass) and just record it already".

I love almost anything that Scott Weiland sings on, so that includes the discographies of the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, buy them.

Temple of the Dog is just a one-off tribute album for singer Andrew Wood with Chris Cornell backed by Pearl Jam. If you`re a Cornell fan which I guess you are, then you should get it.

Hunger Strike, Reach Down, and Wooden Jesus are all great tracks

The only halfway worthwhile song I've ever heard by them is "Heaven & Hot Rods". Otherwise they're easily the worst and most overrated band of that era.

I have some personal nostalgia connected with their music because of an ex-girlfriend but they're not really anything special as a band.

really out of all bands from that era with a similar style, I would say STP is one of the more tolerable.

No matter what, this song is still brilliant to me..

Scott is a perfect example of a human being who needs drugs to do anything worth while I think.

I liked TOTDs only album and the only STP album I don't own is Shangri. Worth getting?

What do you guys think about Trust Company? (Probably have asked that one before but I forgot what you guys said)

Their 5th album (Shangri-La Dee Da) contains the two singles "Days of the Week" and "Hollywood Bitch". I like those two songs.

Shangri is a very poor album and easily the worst in their discography and its the only one I don`t own, but if I saw it really cheap I`d buy it just to complete the collection.

Does anybody know any good metal bands that make prominent use of a synth guitar or are very heavy on electronics? The only good bands I know that fit the bill are synth rock bands but they are not heavy at all, and then there's some trancecore bands but that genre is pretty awful so far.
