Thanks for the rec. BoY.

I only have 4 RS album, Exile, LIB, BB, and Sticky Fingers. Are there any other essential Stones albums to buy?

Anything from 84-72. After that it got really bad for The Stones... and they have been awful ever since. "Exhile,," is probably the last of all around worthwhile stones.

Goats Head Soup, Some Girls & Tattoo You are perfectly good albums.
They might not be up there with Exile or Let It Bleed but they're solid albums.

That was supposed to be 64, not 84.

Some Girls, alright... GHS and TY.... meh, average stuff.

I'd rather listen to Goats Head Soup than Sticky Fingers to be honest.

What about Between The Buttons and Aftermath? Those are good right? 12 X 5 is good as well? Also, I thought Goats Head Soup was unanimously declared a failure?

EDIT: Also, I now have Quad, Who Sell Out, Live At Leeds, Who's Next, and Tommy. Is there anything else by The Who that's really worth buying?

Only by people who don't listen to the Stones on a regular basis.
There are 3 duff tracks on it & 4 good ones & 3 Stones classics.
I don't see how that can be a failure

yeah I'd go for "A Quick One" as well, but try to get the 1997 expanded version, and not the original album version

Alright, A quick one it is.

Just curious, between the Stones and the Who, which band do you guys think is more of a "guys" band? (I heard someone mention the Who as being a "guys only" band while The Beatles, Stones, and Kinks were female friendly, but I'm not sure I entirely agree w/ this)

Also, by Kiss I have S/T, Alive, and Destroyer, what other of their stuff is essential or worth buying? Is Alive 2 any good?
