well these bands aren't along the female lines but they are the same genre or close.

The Bled, Bleeding Through, Black Veil, Blood Red Disciples, hmm In Fear and Faith, As I Lay Dying are all really good, some harder than others though.

I recommend Drain STH, an all female metal band from Sweden. They only released 2 albums, and appear disbanded. The first, Horror Wrestling, is the better of the two. Lyrics are similar to Alice In Chains.

Of all the bands for a group of beautiful Swedish women to emulate...

I recommend Made In China and Incarnate, they're a rock/blues band and heavy/thrash metal band respectively. They're both from New Zealand who are doing pretty well and I want to see if others from around the world might like them too.
