Best rock music since 2000 for classic rock music listeners
I have been stuck listening to the big bands of the 60's-80's but never really branched out from there in my "classic rock" listening. What do you guys got for me?

I've been listening to Finntroll's Jarkten Tid album and I'm really enjoying the folk metal. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite musical styles. But I'm not sure which album I should go to now? Any recommendations on what's worth my money?

In the past I've always dismissed Bathory (you all are going to harass me for that, I know) for whatever reason, but I really enjoy that track. I'll have to give them another chance. I was also really intrigued by Ulver. I listened to a couple songs on that album and enjoyed them as well. It's a shame that they changed their style. Thanks a lot for the recommendations.

I'd strongly suggest checking out Methdrinker. They don't have a very big discography yet, but what they have released is pure gold. If you're willing to settle for something without Alan Dubin vocals, you really should also check out Corrupted.
