Regatdless of an MB only bias opinion, Bad Company was one of the more popular blues rock bands here in the States during the 70s. Their songs ( I don't believe) all sound the same the way Nickelbacks does. But each to his own opinion, no different than assholes, everybody's got one...
A.) The fact that they are a super group is irrelevant if their music sucks, and B.) I already said they were a less ****ty version of Nickelback. They can certainly write songs, but they seem to write them for the same reasons as Nickelback, with the same calculated staleness. I get no real emotion from them, just bland hard rock written for the sole purpose of pushing units.

Oh, and guys, Blues Rock is also welcome. Montrose sounds promising, I'll listen to an album of theirs :3. I will also check out Riot.

Every hard rock band out during the 70s was pushing out album after album which most of the time only included 3 or 4 descent songs. It was no conspiracy at the time. I can respect your opinion brother, it really means nothing to me if you dislike their music you know.

I'm assuming you've heard "Mother", but if that's all you've ever listened to then you need to check out more Danzig. They're as essential as it gets.

This is Music Banter. We're supposed to banter about music. Saying "Everyone has their own opinion and musical taste is subjective" to shut down discussion defeats the purpose of this site. I wasn't trying to disrespect your opinion, I was just discussing.

I don't know what you mean by shutting down discussion? I'm trying to have a simple debate with you but you seem to be getting a little upset for some odd reason.

What in the hell are you even talking about dude with these MB rules and regulations?

For Montrose, they only put out 6 albums, then Sammy went on to become the Red Rocker. I'd consider throwing "Standing Hampton" or "Three Lock Box" out there as well (for some Hagar rock), but Montroses' debut album is probably their best:

Spoiler for Montrose by Montrose:

And here's a left field suggestion for "Metal":

Spoiler for Enter at you own risk:

That made it sound like you were getting upset and didn't want to carry on the discussion anymore. If not, then cool. You just came across as defensive to me.

Well I was getting a little annoyed there at last I will admit. But I would like to think I wouldn't get mad over something so trivial.

Bad Company Rules!

I just saw Bad Co live a few weeks ago. They played after Skynyrd, and while they were good, and very tight, I just couldn't get past the droney-ness of Paul Rogers voice. He has that one comfort zone he goes to in his vocal range, and after a few songs, it becomes a bit bland. Don't get me wrong though, they did an excellent job, especially for some old geezers.

Hes often talked about in circles as one of the main voices of rock but I agree to an extent about his vocals drone-ing on. Feel Like Making Love is a kickass song though. Used to cover that song back in the day in our lil ****ty garage bands.
