I need some Muse-like band, and hard/classic rock such as Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Def Leppard etc.

For the first part try Radiohead and maybe Modest Mouse (hey, I said MAYBE). For the second, I guess Boston, Foreigner, Quiet Riot, Asia, Journey, Van Halen, etc.

Default Norther (if you like Children of Bodom)

melodic death metal band from Helsinki, Finland. They sound very similar to Bodom. They have some really interesting solos that's for sure.

Default Austrian Death Machine (Arnie Metal)

Austrian Death Machine is an American metalcore project from San Diego, California, founded by As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis to be a parody and tribute of actor and current California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's movies.

This band is the ****. Just listen.
