That's the thing though, the new album could come anytime. The Dead Weather creeped up with no previous warning, The new White Stripes album could jump out tomorrow morning and surprise us.

The Dead Weather's second album didn't come as a surprise, I read when they were heading into the studio a while ago. Even though Jack's quick at making records, I don't think it'd just jump out at us. We'll have to wait til 2011

He's touring The Dead Weather right now though, so Michael is correct that it would be early 2011 at the earliest...

Just listening through their second album, Sea of Cowards, and it really blows Horehound out of the water. Brilliant achievement, Jack White is such a great musician. It has already passed Raconteurs in my view, and if they keep it up it might even rival the White Stripes one day.

Jawbreaker is probably my favourite track from the second album:

I saw them at BONNAROO in 2010. What a great show it was, one of the best ive ever seen. I liked them before i saw them but i wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I've seen many great bands in concert and they rank up there with the best.
