Went to the show last night at the Fillmore in downtown Detroit and I am completley blown away.
One of the most satisfying expereinces I've ever had and hands down the best in the last 5+ years for me. The album was just starting to grow on me and then this happens and I have a whole new outlook and optimism for this project. Setlist including all 11 tracks from the album plus a few covers include one by Van Morrison from his "Them" days. Closed with "Treat me like your Mother" and the Dylan cover "New Pony" the best two from the album in my opinion. Obviously I highly reccomend this group.

yeah I'd like to hear a lot more of this. I read a review that said "I cut like Buffalo" is one of the better tracks.
Looking for a Confirm.

I Cut Like a Buffalo and Treat Me Like Your Mother were the tracks that really stood out on first listen. Sounded like a very good album. I look forward to giving it at least another listen before I make my mind up completely.

When I first heard the album. I was missing listening to Raconteurs and nothing really stood out to me but upon further listenings. I'm starting to enjoy it more and it's very eerie how the female singer from the Kills sounds like jack at times.

The Dead Weather
So I heard this song on Wednesday that my social studies teacher was playing in class. He likes the same music I like- cool right? Anyway, I heard this awesome song and asked him what it was. He said "60 Feet Tall" By the Dad Weather. The band is a project Jack White is/was involved in. I never liked the White Stripes, but thought this was a damn good song. So listened to more music from The Dead Weather. Thought I'd share.
