i wouldnt say joy division were goth, based around the whole stereotypical goth image of long, black hair, black clothes, eye liner etc, i dont think division can be associated with any of those those traits!? if we're talking about sound, yea they do have a slight darkness to their songs and the lyrics talk about dark issues but doesnt every rock band? basically, asfter this essay, ive concluded that i have no f!ckin idea!
