i think the singer from the mars volta has a pretty unique voice. from that list id have to say cobain and mercury, like everyone else

Personally, i would say all of them are equally distinctive, and in that sense, you will never have a 'most distinctive' singer, as there will be many differant reasons for distinction. Its much like asking 'what is the most distinctive genre, a true answer will never be found. Dispite saying all that, i think the most distinctive singers would be the guy from Muse and Bono

I never get confused on voices, even on bands i've only heard one song from. I"m really good with voices. I hope its just me, because i want to be special.
I'd say the most distinct ones i can think of right now are Billy Corgan, Ronnie James Dio, and Dave Mustain. However, that could be because those have been the most recent vocals i've listened to. |
