tdoc210 08-23-2006 04:30 AM

Im pretty sure that if you've eevr listened to the beatles with ringo singing, you'll see he is quite distinct from the rest of the group

Blain 08-23-2006 05:18 AM

Ahh yet another one to my list unless I've already said it but David Dramien

MoonlitSunshine 08-23-2006 05:53 AM

Dave mustaine. It's probably already been said, though

Freakyclown 08-25-2006 04:25 PM

Axl Rose

mudsonknot 08-25-2006 05:01 PM

I'd say Ozzy, but Zak Wyld does sound a lot like him
but Kurt is his own

Ace 08-25-2006 05:38 PM

I can agree with that. I'd know Ozzy's voice anywhere.

Soundgardener 08-25-2006 05:44 PM

Other= Tom Waits

MoonlitSunshine 08-25-2006 05:49 PM

oh yeah...

tdoc210 08-26-2006 03:25 PM

thats for sure.

tdoc210 08-27-2006 01:09 PM

^ it did change drastically from Black Sabbath to paranoid. hmmmm

Urban Hat€monger ? 08-27-2006 08:32 PM

Thats because on Sabbaths first album he recorded his voice twice , one take was used on the left speaker & one was used on the right.

I don`t know if that was used in all the songs but you can hear it best on 'Behind The Wall Of Sleep' if you switch from left to right as you listen to it.

I remember reading somewhere during Ozzy`s f*cked up period when he was recording No Rest For The Wicked Zakk Wylde sang a couple of songs recorded in that way & then tried to convince Ozzy that they were his vocals because Ozzy was too wasted to remember if he recorded them or not.

tdoc210 08-27-2006 08:36 PM

^ Oh wow I didn't Know that. Thats why the line " If you want our remorse, turn your body into a corpse" sounds so weird.

ShadowSurfer 08-27-2006 09:58 PM

They all sound distinct in comparison to each other.

tdoc210 08-27-2006 10:03 PM

Back on topic, out of the list, it has to be Mecury. Not on that list I would say Randy Blythe from Lamb Of God, his voice (though he doesnt sing) is completly different to any other vociallist ive heard.
