I think no matter what forever Metallica will be referred to as metal. Sure some of there albums prolly aren't metal but they are as a band. I mean I could make a metal band then make like one punk album. But that doesent mean that my band isn't metal anymore.

It's an opinion yes, I realise only now you have quoted me that in that instance I may have worded that badly and it probably came off more that I was trying to present it as fact.
The Black Album was the most successful, I'm not sure how you would measure whether it was the most "productive" though, or even what you really mean by that. Load & ReLoad and The Black Album are decent records but I'm underwhelmed by them. St. Anger I did think was just a massive, epic fail. I cant find many positive things to say about that whereas I can for everything else they have released after AJFA. I thought the lyrics were terrible, even by Metallica's relatively lowish standards. I thought the lyrics were the worst they had ever produced and one of the worst things about that record. |

Uh...no? I'm just sharing my opinion. My dad is a huge Metallica fan and I just couldn't find myself enjoying their music much, except for a few songs.
Can't even post an opinion without the lame troll comment.

No, it's called an opinion and I never said they sucked, I just said I didn't like them. I think Lars is pretty cool, so what? What does that have to do with anything? I can't think a member is cool? Wow. I don't look down on anyone who likes them. I clearly said my dad was a fan but I just couldn't get into them.
Lame argument was lame. See how that works?
