Thursday is emo. emo is not a bad thing. and stop with this stupid "they are post-hardcore!" junk. Post-Hardcore IS emo. Don't believe me? read on. Ian MacKaye (i hope everyone here knows who that is) went from the famous HarDCore band Minor Threat to the undeniably emo Fugazi. This occurrence was extremely common. Hardcore was quickly dying out in the late 80's, and many hardcore kids started emo bands AFTER they were in hardcore bands. Hence Post-Hardcore. |
