Default Old Man Gloom

I was going to start a thread on this band earlier, erased it before I was done. F*ck it.

Sludge/doom metal "supergroup" side project of Isis frontman Aaron Turner (& a few others to come out of the Boston hxc scene). Not much youtube stuff to come up for 'em but they're pretty fantastic. I've got Christmas and Seminars III: Zozobra, both awesome records.

Any other fans?

I went through one of their albums last year, enjoyed it quite a bit.
They're more collected than others of their breed.

I've been curious about these guys for a while but haven't given them a listen yet. Which album would be good to start with?

They're all basically under the same umbrella of music but I feel Christmas is their outstanding work. Zozobra is great too but admittedly a little short.

I can get you an up if you want.
