Question The Official Linkin Park

A lot of people really don't like Linkin Park, but I don't mind them at all. I agree with many of their critics that say that their musics sounds a lot alike, but I still like it. Some of it is really good, but you do get bored if you listen to the whole album all the way through. At least that's how I feel. What do you feel?

I think they're pretty terrible. Their lyrics are over-wrought, their instrumental work is not very creative, and whatever quality they are capable of is destroyed by overproduction. I don't like being too critical, but I think Linkin Park pretty much embodies rock's stagnation into the late 90's.

Since I don't listen to the radio to often or watch MTV, their not to hard to avoid listening to, personally I don't like them, but I am not complaining....

Here's a thought; let's stop labeling music and fighting over what genre a certain band is, and start listening to whatever pleases our ears no matter what anyone thinks of it! ;)

I really like them...and I wouldn't even say all their music is the same.
Hybrid Theory and Meteora are albums that I can honestly say were good start to finish...they had some strong singles, but even the ones that weren't released were solid.

Linkin Park's style is different than pretty much any other band around...it's great.

agreed ... hybird theory pises over meteora ... but they are good live.

im not a fan of how they have rap mixed in with rock though. yet im not slating linkin park for this, they are very talented musically for being able to do this. just i dont think it's very great.
