I already thought Linkin Park was awesome before this album. When they collaborated with Jay-Z, I think all of the songs got much better. It puts a different spin on things and I love it, but that's just me. Lots of people don't like it I guess.

i've never realy been that into Linkin Park, but i know people who are/have been, and there has not been a good word said about Linkin Park and Jay-z on my forum. theyre free to do whatever they want, i'm not going to stop them, but Linkin Park really have soldout on this, and thats got to have an effect on even their most die hard fans, for example:

Yeah thats kinda like my situation, l use to be really into LP when l lived in a shoebox and had no idea that living outside the box would enable me a much more diverse range when listening to music. But now l'm representing, thanks to a mate of mine!

All I can say is Jay-z must have been given one serious paycheck to stoop low enough to collaborate with LP.

Hybrid Theory = Good
All material after that = ??

Hybrid Theory was good, but it kinda ruins it when a band makes the CD all over again, re-mixed. Release new material, if you want to do remixes, throw it on a hidden track. As far as the Jay-Z stuff, I didn't listen much past HT, so I can't say...

i'd say linkin park should stay away from mixing with jay-z. i like linkin park, and that song was ruined once rap touched it.
