I've felt A Thousand Suns sounds a bit Floydian to be honest. And the apocalypse concept isn't terribly original either. (Muse have done it with Absolution, and there've probably been other examples) But originality be damned this is a great record and a good example of why the concept album can be a true work of brilliance.
