New LP album.

Quote:
"When we were making Meteora, we wrote 70 to 90 songs to come up with the 12 tracks that are on the album," he said. "For this one, we're going to write more than that. We're about halfway into it. But it'll be out this year. And I can already tell that the record is going to sound a little different than our previous ones.
Lol, sureeeeee.

Probably not 70-90 but I know as a fact they did write quite alot of songs for it, they released quite a few of them on their LPU cd's.

Ethan I'm surprised you'd care about them making a new album? Lol

I don't, but my friend was freaking out at me about it so I decided to post incase someone cared.

I don't really believe they made that many songs, and if they did alot were probaly way worse then their already horrid songs.

Maybe they should spend more put musicianship behind their stuff.

Mmm I agree, Rob Bourdon really is quite a good drummer, I loved the beat on Faint. They really focus on Joe though, they don't give enough credit to the guitarists

They probably do write that much for a record. I've heard Breaking Benjamin interviews where they say around 90-100 songs, just to get the 12-14 good picks for the one album.

Well really I've heard quite a few of them on some LPU albums and they're mainly just different version of songs. I.E Esaul is just a Place For My Head demo.

I only own Meteora. Though I've heard Hybrid Theory dozens of times, Meteora was all around better. Maybe the new one will be better than the previous ones. Enjoyable to listen to every once in a while, but it's like alot of other bands I listen to......they come out with an album, and I'll be lazy and wait a year before I buy it.

So Minutes To Midnight drops May 15th, I'm not really excited about the album, I just want them to tour Aus. They're awesome live, and I've been waiting ages.

Though I'm not expecting much musically from the new album

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.
