I wouldn't judge LP based on their radio play...I think some of their really good songs didn't/haven't made the radio....

I agree with you there. I have both of their CDs and most of the songs I like from them aren't played on the radio at all.

I like them and could care less what other people say about them. "Papercut" is my fave LP song. I hear they are a good live band. My friend saw them on off-fest with Slipknot, Disturbed, and Spineshank. He said seeing them live really got him into them.

I love LP. No matter what anyone says, I think that they have a style all their own. Over produced, stagnant, whatever the other thoughts were, I still think it's an original sound. And if they aren't anymore, I would think they started a new direction for music. Mixing in a DJ, rapping, vocals, plus the visuals of both their albums and concerts. I can see the opinion that a lot of their songs are the same, but if you like the sound I think that's a good thing in a way. It's also been said, and not in this thread which surprises me, they they are pretty commercialized, mainstream... sellout type of comments. I just think they have a sound that mass amount of people can get into... some smaller doses than others but it's a good sound. Plus I would gladly argue with someone over how commercialized the band is after hearing Chester sing live. When he sings it sound really emotional. Music is an outlet and not a pay check. And I don't think it matters who produces you... if you are using music as a venue for creativity... you're golden in my book.

I really don't like them, although I did see them at a festival here in Houston. I must say, they are pretty good live. But I really don't like the albums or the band.

I don't like them to much. Their lyrics are so damn repetitive. I can't really go on that though because I listen to Anti-Flag but still they could change it up a little bit here and there. I do like the song "Numb" though...

They're not my favorite band out there, but they are extremely hard working guys. I have Meteora and I must say its a very good album. I think in order to appreciate their music you have to know alot about music, or nothing at all about music. Dont ask me how that makes sense, to me it just does :S. They are given a worse rep then they deserve though.

Linkin Park is good. I like how they experiment with sounds. Like how they have rap combined with the heavy rock sound.

And the effects. In the intro to somewhere I belong they took a solo Chester played and cut it up. Sounded really cool.

Wish I could hear them live. My Bro bought LIve in Texas but it doesn't cut it for me.
