Good album. It's no Prowler in the Yard though.

I haven't heard the new album. My ISP seems to be blocking and throttling everything and I don't even live in Cuba or China, but Prowler in the Yard is freakin classic!

It sounds like just another Pig Destroyer release. Not really impressive, but good enough to warrant a listen.

Old thread I know but Phantom Limb is still getting repeated listens well over a year after release. One of my favourite Metal albums ever and before u all start with the genre crap..I don't care. It has it's roots in Metal and deserves props.

The sound just after 55 secs....Wow!:

Heavy hitting yet accesible enough for grindcore newbies like me, quite an achievement!

Phantom Limb is a great album. I have to admit that I like Terrifyer better but Phantom Limb is still really good.

I'm just listening to Prowler In The Yard for the first time. These guys are so damn awesome. How they can remain really heavy and still intense is what I like about them. I really can't make my mind up as to what is my favourite album now

The precision, skills and creatively these guys have is just pure entertainment enjoyment. PD's musicianship ranks with the best, and how Scott Hull achieves such a sludgey low-end, eliminating the need for a bass player, is mystifying to me. As far as albums, after being blown away by Prowler which at the time I thought was the best grindcore album ever, topping Terrorizer, Brutal Truth, Nasum, Napalm Death, I was even more blown away after hearing Terrifyer. That album is a nuclear explosion. Phantom is also excellent, I particularly like the 2nd half which gets into longer more groovier songs, but Terrifyer is the bomb.

Best grindcore band without questioning. Is it Scott Hull who does Agoraphobic Nosebleed as well? Another great band.
