I'm not one to be concerned with a band starting off with a few solid releases and then dive-bomb into complete and utter mediocrity. My library reflects that...

Not really the biggest fan of either. Disturbed's songs sound the same and musically I'm not a fan of there music. Korns music also sounds the same, but there more musically talented except for there drummer disturbed's drummer is really good. Overally I prefer Korn mainly for the nostalgic value of listening to them as a kid.

Korn used to be awesome back in the day but they have since really gone down the sh!tter, imo. Disturbed only has a few songs I like.
I'd still go with Korn, though I don't even bother with them anymore.

Korn definitely. I'm judging their first 4 albums only, but in my opinion they were enough. Judging by raw emotion and energy, korn definitely has the edge with jon as the singer. disturbed is good, but you can feel the anger and pain in jons voice and connect with that. he relived his experiences in the studio that fueled the lyrics for his songs. while david is a good singer, he sings off of technicality and skill, jon sings from pure emotion and heart, there is a huge difference there for me, i like something i can connect with.
next thing is that korn's first 4 albums were completely different from each other. self titled was more metal, pure rock, nothing else really. life is peachy seemed like more of an experimental record, just throwing stuff to see what works. follow the leader had more of a hip hop feel to it in general. and issues was more melodic by far and had a smoother sound while still remaining korn. disturbed put out one good album, their first, and the rest in my opinion sound exactly the same. not to mention that korn started the nu metal scene, they automatically get points for being that much more original. so yeah, korn all the way. and notice the opinions expressed here are just that, opinions and everyone has one.
