Default I know they're both metal bands but...

I believe they are totally different. Korn has that distinct heavy bass sound that I love so much and Disturbed is more of a rough rockin' band. I think Disturbed has been more consistent as far as quality over the years. Korn's last album sucked IMHO. Hopefully Korn III will be much better. Cannot wait for Asylum from Disturbed though.

Disturbed hasn't released anything that can touch KoRn's 1994 self-titled debut...

That is a very bold statement V&F, I like Korn..but to suggest that Disturbed has nothing that can touch an album by Korn seems very overstated and only a matter of self opinion.

I'll take 'neither' for 500, Alex.

That album was groundbreaking, consistent, and emotionally powerful. I prefer Davis's 'Daddy' over Disturbed's 30 seconds in the middle of 'Down with the Sickness'...

The lead singer of Disturbed is soooo ***. (not that there's anything wrong with that) Have you ever seen them live? I can't stand him.

Korn ftw.

I enjoy the music of both bands; but if I had to choose one I'd go with Disturbed.

I think the song that got me into them was "Stupify" which although isn't one of their better ones did get me hooked a little bit; I checked out a few more and will confess to wanting David Draimans' rock/metal babies...

Seriously, though, I love tracks like Inside the Fire, Stricken, etc (and obviously can't beat Down With The Sickness for some pure anger!) so for me, Disturbed win every time.

I hardly listen to either...

But I'd go with Disturbed. Reason: I prefer listening to their music? '10 000 Fists', 'Stricken', 'Decadence'; good songs.

Korn, hands down. Just listen to the debut album or Untouchables.
