Favorite Metal Band with Female Vocals
 

OK..if this thread already exists, I`m sorry...not gonna look for it to bump it up. And if this is a first...for surely it had to come up sometime. I am always looking for more metal bands headed by woman. Not necessarily do i like the operatic vocals like Lacuna Coil or Nightwish...but here are my favs:

1. Arch Enemy
2. Straight Line Stitch
3. Orphan Hate
4. Bloodshoteye
5. The Agonist

Judging by your list this may not be your cup of tea but i throw this album on every now and then.


'LEFT HAND SOLUTION' - 'THORNS'

arch enemy, the agonist, and nightwish are my fav metal bands that i've come across with female singers. kittie has some pretty good stuff to. their last album was great musically but i wished they would have had more screaming on it. a friend of mine just suggested a few female fronted bands to check out. i haven't had a chance to check all of them yet but you might find some interesting. bloodflowerz, after forever, stolen babies, and amberian dawn.

Girlschool...Jesus Christ. Theres a band I haven't thought about for years.

Girlschool are bitchin' . Warlock are cheesy euro metal and Phantom Blue were a big hair Hard Rock 80's band but i like them!

Aesma Daeva, Pale Forest, Xandria, After Forever, Tristania, Wartanas, Echoes of Eternity, Delain, Battlelore, Epica, Madder Mortem, The Sins of Thy Beloved.

Deadlock is good as well. The screaming vocals are male, but the clean vocals are female...it's a pretty good mix.
