So lets hear it do you love or hate these bands, and does anyone know any other kickass pirate metal bands?!

So do these bands sing about all the guy on guy action that happened on pirate ships or is that not metal enough?

I have never even heard of Pirate metal! I would have thought that I would have at least heard the term before!

So what makes Pirate Metal? I'm assuming the lyrical content?

Heh well I know no references but I can easily picture pirate metal with an abundance of accordians so I think I get what you mean.

Im just wondering what defines pirate metal. It would appear that a lot of Viking metal is defined largely by the lyrical content or else it would just be melodic/death metal.
