Is it me or is modern Rock music getting worse? (lyrics, metal)

Most people think it is because both bands main goal was to use the masks to intimidate. The truth, however, is that Slipknot mostly uses the masks to conceal their identity.

it's unpossible!!! a band as a direct reflection of their influences.... influences who had far reaching mainstream appeal to boot.... BLASPHEMY!
