Who Is in your thought the Best Metal Band (country, rock)

I like KMFDM. You should see me right now. I'm all excited over nothing because you said KMFDM.

Anyways, I've heard of TapeWorm. And hearing the name somehow makes me think of that band called Oleander. they freaking rock. Although that's opinionated and not ambiguous so I had to say that because I don't know if any of yous have ever heard of them.

And aerosmith is defintely not metal. Although they've been in the game for about as long as a lot of peopel around here (where i live) can remember, which should be about as long as the whole rock or whatever genre emerged . . . Yeha well to say the least I'm with Oi here. They're not metal.

I want sugar. i want it now.

Fantômas are so good it's amazing. not what i'd call metal, if that's what you were going for.

i'd say Death is at the top of my list.

Aren't Tapeworm just a project? Like an experiment....An attachment band covering other bands. I know Maynard has done some work with them with APC but I haven't heard of them otherwise.

as i'm 46, my idea of heavy metal is a lot different to some others on the forum. i grew up in the 70,s, when you looked under HM in the record shops you'd come across, queen[ they were known as metal becoz of their 1st two albums],zeppelin, sabbath, aerosmith, styx!, thin lizzy, ufo,deep purple, uriah heep, etc.
i suppose the only one maybe considered HM now would be sabbath, coz they were the first.
i prefer the name heavy rock.
