I don't know which group is better, but if the two had a baby it'd be pretty f**king miserable
or pretty damn awesome
Tool. Besides the fact NIN does nothing for me musically, Tool has much better artwork.
Tool is obviously the better band. I mean without even comparing the bands I can just tell by the genre. Prog rock > Alt Metal. Also Tool actually advances music while all Nin did was please fans. Laterlus is Tool's best album
The only listenable thing NIN did was Pretty Hate Machine. Which is a pretty average album.
Tool ftw. |
does no one else find it odd with the two bands being totally different, (well cant exactly call NIN a band) but people that like one almost always like the other too.

like i said, pretty ****ing amazing.
Tool easily.
Nice one Cardboard. Maynard would be most stuff including the cool tummy, Trent would only contribute the knobbly knees.

Tool, but both are rather horrendous.
Tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The entire feeling of both bands is completely different. I love Tool so much no one can sing like Maynard. I am mesmerized by his voice. :)
Tool all the way with that!
NIN by far Tool has songs that are longer than my attention span so NIN wins my vote.
Tool!
NIN for sure! 1000000000000000 times over.
I just don't like tool. I think they suck. |
Pshhh, Tool. But I do also enjoy Nine Inch Nails. I just think Tool's lyrics and use of music are more provacative. NIN is like...techno sometimes. It's weird. But cool.

Hehehe lucy love stool

Tool owns NIN any day of the week.
Ah, this is a tough one. My two top favorite bands..but I've never really hesitated to say that I'd take Tool over NIN any day. I've experienced both bands live and all I can say is WOW. Very different stage presence.
Tool, I saw back when they toured for Lateralus...and The Grudge was freakin' amazing! As was Dispostion/Reflection/Triad. Haven't been able to catch them on their latest trek. My show was postponed last year. NIN, I've seen them four times and I've been lucky enough to meet them twice! Awesome guys, all of them. Great bands both of them.. |

^^ So? I also like Porcupine Tree very much. Just 'cause NIN and Tool are two of my favorite bands, doesn't mean I must have their avatar. Besides, when I created this account I was hooked on In Absentia..good album, what can i say..
