Bumblefoot-Guitars SUCK (solo @ 1:50) Between the Buried And Me-White Walls Cynic-Veil of Maya (solo @ 2:54) The Mothers of Invention (solo @ 1:19) Jimi Hendrix-Little Wing, the original version although this one is good too (solo @ 1:21) Sublime-Burritos (solos @ beginning and 2:57)

Not sure about best metal solos because it's not a genre I frequent. My fave solos are...
Wilco-Impossible Germany, Nels Cline is the man. Dino Jr-Out There, everything J Mascis does is crazy good. Stones-Time Waits For No One, Mick Taylor kills it. Blind Faith-Presence Of The Lord, this is why people call EC God. |
