Led Zeppelin's Heartbreaker, wasn't meant to be there originally until Page decided to slam one in, brilliantly out of place, superflous and totally insane. The guitar set up was completely different so it didn't even fit in with the sound, the timing is all wrong and it's so sloppy it could make a virtuoso cringe. But it's full of attitude and excess and that's what Zep was about.

You should watch the live DVD Arriving Somewhere. They do a fantastic job with that song. Granted Wilson makes it twice as long.

I can't believe I forgot about that. What a great solo. My buddy learned how to play it.

I have the dvd... but anws cheers to that

my fav part from it is where Wilson's guitar strings break while they are trying to close their set with trains, he changes guitar and they just finish from where they left off. they're genius, they make a clumsy scenario seem so cool

I'll be cliche and put a vote in for the solo in Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Also the solo in Judas Priest's Painkiller is awesome.

It's short and it's sweet, it's the guitar solo in Transdermal Celebration by Dean Ween of, well, Ween.

These are the best solo's ever and make sure you listen all the way through. top quality! It's a little offensive too.
