none of yall have mentioned kid rock. say what you will about him and his music, but his stage presence is undeniably powerful. ive seen well over 1000 concerts in my time, and no one, absolutely no one, outplays kid rock.
other favorites of mine include
neil fallon has a certain swagger that will draw you in whether you like the music or no(clutch)
dave wyndorf (before he went to rehab, now he sits down and smokes cigarettes throughout, like the damn eagles) (of monster magnet, of course)
billy gibbons and dusty hill have amazing stage presence and can work a crowd (zz top, if you haven't already guessed)
dave grohl is an amazing frontman, but he's much more mesmerizing as a drummer (foo fighters, qotsa, probot, oh yeah, and nirvana)

Well you would say that if the other 999 concerts you attended were by the Nolan Sisters.

1. Robert Plant - Led Zeppelin
2. John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) - Sex Pistols, PiL
3. Kurt Cobain - Nirvana
4. HR - Bad Brains
5. Billy Corgan - Smashing Pumpkins

Thanks, it's kind of hard to limit it to only 5. I would like to throw honorable mentions to Greg Lake and Peter Gabriel.

1. Peter Garbiel (Genesis)
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. Elvis Presley
3. Ronnie Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
5. Julian Casablancas (The Strokes)

honorable mentions to Geddy Lee for playing bass, foot-pedal synth, and keyboard while singing - talk about multi-tasking

I would go as far to say that youcould replace your number 5 with geddy and be looking alright.
