OLD old Metallica was the best. They've become less and less interesting over the years. IMHO.

I look forward to hearing the new album, just. judging by what others are saying about it.I wish Metallica had continued to follow the line of progression that they were on which they suddenly diverted from with the Black album. There was definitely a strong evolution of style and complexity going on that was severely preempted after ....And Justice for All.

I stopped thinking metallica would make another good album a long time ago. Anything after Justice is no good in my books.

The best concert I ever saw was Metallica/Godsmack at the Mark in the Quad Cities.
