would it be wrong of me to say all eras of metallica sucked? only songs i could ever get by listening to were a few on kill 'em all, whiplash, hit the lights, etc. but i was raised on metallica, and now i couldn't listen to them to save my life.

Seriously, i guess you havnt realized how much metallica did for music, even for *** ass ****ing Coheed And Camberia .

I think That with Rick Rubin producing this new album, it will be amazing , or at least have the chance to be amazing.

3.Get the person to slam your head in the door

I couldn't vote on this, because I'm not going to write them off completly with the next album, but I do have serious doubts. On one hand it's not Bob Rock, on the other, it's Rick Rubin.......
I've lost a lot of faith in their abilities since St. Anger.

I think their new album has got a fair chance of being good. It was said in an interview that it will not be another St Anger and will be more of a return to their old style. Let's hope that's true.
