Fair To Midland
They're easily my favorite band.
The vocalist is just AMAZING live and on CD. And their keyboardist gives their music that atmospheric edge. For those who haven't heard of them, the only categorization I can think to put them under is Progressive Art Rock. Unfortunately, I haven't had 15 posts, so I apparently can't post links. >.> You shouldn't have trouble finding them on MySpace or their official website. *Hint*fairtomidland*hint* |

You should.
At first, I couldn't really get into them because I wasn't used to the music, But his vocal ability just sent me over the edge and got me to listen to them. Their live shows are quite amazing, too. I think I'll post a few pics from their last show I went to a few weeks ago. When I feel like it. >.> |

that song is worth a listen or two, they have a really chill sound and at the same time, its harsh. Thats just what i think anyways.

That's assuming they are in condition to travel again. In case you were unaware, they were recently in a wreck where they lost all their equipment. They're throwing a few benefit shows to get back on their feet. But I don't see the tour being cancelled. |
