I'm probably going to be alone on this one but Pow R. Toc H. would get my vote.
Firstly because it's my most listened to Pink Floyd song. And secondly because I think it's a shame they didn't do more of this type of stuff as they could have become one of the greatest avant garde / noise rock bands ever.

The Great Gig in the Sky
Us & Them Time Shine on you Crazy Diamond Comfortably Numb Echoes The band more or less changed my life, and I enjoy all their stuff so much I don't think I could choose a definitive best. If I had to pick some of their best though, these would be them. |

There's a huge difference between Syd-era Pink Floyd and everything else, even in the early years. I love Piper, but honestly, it was made during an era when they were trying to emulate the psychedelic scene instead of creating their own sound (which also follows for Sgt. Peppers-era Beatles). Remember, Pink Floyd began as a blues act, not some avant-garde band. I have so much more respect for their later works, where they began to generate an original sound influenced by a number of great musicians. I think Meddle is where it began to come together, and certainly is one of my favorite records ever.

That's not what I was implying at all and you know it.
