Cool

It is SO hard for me to listen to Pink Floyd, anymore ~ too many memories and too much acid (i did it about 20 times in my life, total, but MOST of the times were about music ~ Pink Floyd concert, John Mayall concert, Elton John concert, teen club dances, Deep Purple concert...) and just partying and listening.

Well, anyway ~ Comfortably Numb, ftw

Tough choice, but I'm going with Wish You Were Here.

For me, COMFORTABLY NUMB, but the live version from PULSE. David Gilmour makes his guitar BLEED in that version. Gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.

Way to give Alan Parsons some props in the Pink Floyd thread. I don't think "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" would have been half the album, if it weren't for the amazing engineering of Alan Parsons. The man is amazing. As is Pink Floyd, so please don't yell at me!

Pink Floyd always undersold his skills, but it didn't matter, because people still credit him for DSOTM's sonic appeal anyways. It really was Roger Waters' crowning glory, but if you're the head of production for such a captivating album you're sure to inherit a good deal of the credit due.

I'm probably alone, but I think Shine On You Crazy Diamond is definitely my favorite.

Though I might be a bit biased as it (and Wish You Were Here, as an album) was my first real taste of Pink Floyd.

I still like WYWH a lot better than Dark Side of the Moon though.

I wanted to say something original like Free Four but I have to say Wish You Were Here. That song brings out so many emotions and can mean so many things yet it has a simple message. I put it on so many mix tapes as a kid...lol.
