Apparently I can only post URLs after making 15 posts or more, so sorry about that. Editing the post with descriptions of how to look up bands I suggest
Archaic Earth on bandcamp, they have a 6 song EP that I Think would qualify, lost of natural soundscapes and ambience. You can look them up at archaicearth . bandcamp . com

Wardruna is amazing, they play with all traditional norse instruments, they do most of the music for the TV series Vikings as well.

Nuen Welten is awesome too, look up the 2 part song Destrunken on youtube, really unique style I Think

Look up the album "For Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings".
It's a 2 disc compilation album of european dark folk/ambient music, and where I've found some of my favourite artists (some are listed here already).

Message to Bears may qualify too? Check out the song Mountains, which has an official video on youtube, alot of their music and the entire first album are instrumental only.

And Olafur Arnalds, while more of a minimalist composer, I feel would be enjoyed by anyone who's into the dark folk vibe. My favourite album is "And They Have Escaped The Weight of Darkness" to whom Agalloch has also done an homage on Marrow of the Spirit.

Happy hunting!
