Default Which artists are the biggest bandwagon hoppers or theives of others ideas?

There is nothing new under the sun I guess but what bands or artists lack originality and steal other bands ideas or just steal lyrics or jump onto a movement because it is popular?
That isn't as bad thing if they find their feet and make some good material but some do it just for sales and it stinks of insincerity.
Oasis have been tagged like this.
Pearl Jam and Grunge.
Madonna is great at this.

I disagree with Pearl Jam and grunge. In fact, they were probably the most sincere band in that entire movement.

Yeah, but she doesn't pretend to be otherwise so she's okay in my book, kind of a female David Bowie.

I kind of think the Beatles fall into the bandwagon jumper category, but people always get upset when I suggest that.

One thing I wonder though is if oasis didn't initially rave about the Beatles would the comparison be made?
