Please stop bumping every single thread that has the words "dragonforce" or "lame" (synonym to dragonforce in it) in it thank you.

OMG they are truly awful aren't they?!

They seem to PORTRAY a metal band than actually BE a metal band.

Fury Of the Storm is a great album to start with.

I started with Revolution Deathsquad but i still love them.

I personally do not like them, and think there whole image is corny and annoying. But there are 2 or 3 songs i dont mind, and that i feel actually have some music value to them.

I think their whole band is a joke... and after they stop making cash or they don't find it funny anymore they will break all their fans hearts. That will be epic.

i guess that they do seem to have but a few songs that really pop out to me. the rest are just annoying and Li just tries too hard. i wont be surprised when they break up. I mean i still really enjoy there music. But thinking about it. not as much as i used to.

Well, I would waste my time sharing my feelings about DragonForce, but it has already been done here.

That said, I don't really agree with this being made sticky and causing the idea that a few peoples opinion are the official views of MB.

wow. never really noticed how many times they used pain until i actually look at that.

Basically Dragonforce is 5 or 6 guys all jacking off on stage. Seriously there's no other way to describe it. The solo's require no phrasing whatsoever and the keyboard parts are really boring. If it was porn it would be the most boring unarrousing porn ever.

So really their talent seems to be wanking, which is really really boring. Basically, if you hear one song you've heard all of them.

I love the way absolutely nobody here seems to get the whole 'humour' thing Dragonforce have going on.

yea but i mean.....so many people are totally amazed by dragonforce and a lot of people i talk to who dont play any music take them seriously and think that they're "epic."

so it comes down to just a bunch of people liking the equivalent of bad porn.

and besides...didnt they get into G3 a couple years ago...? they're like the Red Hot Chili Peppers-only they're STILL a total joke.

Well the logical solution is this; if Dragonforce would stop sucking, we would naturally stop insulting them. It's not our fault. The burden is on them.

Yes, that's the point. It's one of the most amazing DragonForce videos ever, and yet it's a complete piece of shit. I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that the guitarists are playing completely out of time at the beginning, or the bassist's tongue flick at 1:40.

EDIT: Or the fact that people rip on the singer for having crappy teeth rather than his inability to sing live.

Don't forget the guitarist sipping beer out of a straw while playing.

the sad part is....Dragon Force has the technical ability to be REALLY GOOD

but because they're so formulated and so...well....wanky
they're RELALY REALLY boring and not original in any way.

what is the point of this thread? The mods like to use their powers to show their lack of tolerance of certain bands?

because at one point in time there were the 15 post groupies who made 6 dragonforce threads each.....

If there are plenty of threads about one band, we merge the developed ones and close the rest.

With Dragonforce it was even more extreme (haha) because we had random newbies coming along and bumping loads of ancient DF threads just to make inane posts.

yeah but usually the tread isn't sticked.

Make an official Dragonforce thread and leave it at, that no need for this sticky.

But that's the thing... this is an extreme case because people either continually created new DF threads or bumped every one in existence, despite there being current ones already.

We might unsticky it and see what happens, but I'll have to talk to the other mods about that.
