Adrenaline Songs
Name your favorite songs that get your adrenaline pumping. You all know the feeling: you can take anyone, nothing matters, you don't care, you're invincible.
A small start: Bodies - Drowning Pool The Man Without Fear - Drowning Pool Whatever - Godsmack I Stand Alone - Godsmack Down With the Sickness - Disturbed |
Music should certainly get you pumped but not to the effect that you can take anyone on and those tracks are relatively tame. In fact try 'Tame' by The Pixies to get pumped up.

^ Good shout
I'm going to go with Melt-Banana - A Shield For Your Eyes, A Beast in the Well of Your Hand. |
Uptown Girl by Billy Idol

I usually rely on metal to get my heart pumping, so I don't know what the deal is with Uptown Girl ;P.
How about "The Unthinking Majority - Serj Tankian", "Killing in the Name - Rage Against the Machine","Shoot me Again - Metallica"? Maybe some Slipknot? I know they aren't considered real metal, but they are a guilty pleasure... |
Definitely any song by Strapping Young Lad, but of all the songs, I'd have to say "Relentless" and "Aftermath"
|
Judas Priest - Painkiller

"Hungry Homeless Handjob"—Agoraphobic Nosebleed
"Wild Women"—Alien Sex Fiend "Sacred Geometry"—An Albatross "Get Up While You Can"—Atari Teenage Riot "Miasma"—The Black Dahlia Murder "Operation"—Cirlce Jerks "For Boston"—Dropkick Murphys "Fuck Christmas"—Fear "Heuldoch 7B"—Foetus "The Mathematics of Chaos"—Killing Joke "Asteroid"—Killing Joke "Destroy Everything You Touch"—Ladytron "2 Morro Morro Land"—Lightning Bolt "The Missing"—Ministry "Breathe"—Ministry "All Hell Breaks Loose"—Misfits "Devilock"—Misfits "Demonomania"—Misfits "The Hammer"—Motorhead "Snaggletooth"—Motorhead "I Had a Dream, Joe"—Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds "Thumbsucker"—Pig Destroyer "Bring Us Bullets"—Rocket from the Crypt "Horsemen of the Invisible"—Secret Chiefs 3 "Angel of Death"—Slayer "I Won't Fall in Love Today"—Suicidal Tendencies Some of these songs are not actually all that heavy or loud in any traditional sense but there's something about them that just gives me a ton of energy. One example of this would be the Nick Cave song "I Had a Dream, Joe" which is almost country sounding but there's something in the way Nick spits those lyrics that is just so dam intense. Another example is "Destroy Everything You Touch" by Ladytron, a dancey electronic song, but one that's so dynamic and with such a powerful beat that it makes me want to hop in my car and drive dangerously fast. |
