Jon Nödtveidt of the black metal band 'Dissection'.
Now, this guy was really a true satanist! He followed the 'Satanic Bible', performed rituals and so on and so forth. He had even spent 7 years in jail for helping in a murder. He committed suicide after performing a ritual, inside a circle of lit candles. And this wasn't because of some drug abuse or some brain altering substance; According to his beliefs, he had completed what he was supposed to in this world and there was no need of him living anymore. Apparently, he died with a smile on his face.
Weird sh!t :usehead:

Not that i support what he did, but hey, he definitely made one of the most epic black metal albums of all time.

That is great. Do they really have a satanic version of the good book?
Like a text that is the same and printed?
All that Cowley stuff I don't get.
Or do they justify it as good in a sort of animal pagan way?
I'll ask at the library (but then I'd have to pay the fine for a late return of my buck fizz album and be seen by the librarians as a satanic evil doer which aint good in a small town like Herne Bay)
ha ha.
Good one that!
Does such a text exist?

The Satanic Bible was written in 1969 by Anton Lavey but there many older texts regarding the dark side.

Are they about the glory of sex and linked to the pagon rituals where they celebrate human body or are they just about killing and death?
Why would the devil heap praise on anyone?
Seems like helping a mass murderer to kill yourself to me otherwise.
I read that it was all about the fact that the church banned pagonism and branded it satanic. Guess where I read that?????
A quite famous novel of the last few years about an artist and a code and a woman in a painting. I could understand that in a pagon way but not just evil for evils sake as evil will not praise evil.
It will draw in and destroy. I look for that book. Cheers.
The sadest death to me was Karen Carpenter and also the guy who wrote "Cant live without you" who actually couldn't live without the woman he loved in real life.
That is sad.

Everyone else might prefer to die on stage or masturbating like that silly pickle from INXS, but for me, it has to be Mama Cass (of The Mamas and the Papas). If I die choking on a ham sammich, I would laugh at my dead body.

Incidentally, it was the same hotel room that Keith Moon died in a whiles later.

Sid Vicious.

Well Elvis would have to be right up there. Dying on the toilet while trying to push one out is what I would call the definition of poetic justice.

All the stuff that murders and suicide stuff that went around with the death metal band Mayhem is very crazy. Even the cover over there album Dawn of the Black Hearts has a picture of the lead singer after he commited suicide, and the pic is real.

I think I've seen that before. I'm pretty sure my morbid, morbid fuck of a friend showed that to me.

Is the pic just an image of a headless man with a blood-splattered wall behind him? I think he held a grenade to his head until it exploded.

sweet_nothing 07-20-2008 10:33 PM

Well no, he's not headless kinda hunched over what i think is a desk with a shotgun in his hand and a huge hole in his head, but there is blood on the wall, and brains, all that stuff. Bit graphic just describing it.=\

read the wiki on mayhem for more. pretty interesting.
