I saw the Raconteurs in summer 2006 on some festival, and I was so looking forward to it, and they sucked. Don't know, maybe it was just me
Manu Chao played there too, agree with you damn, I want to see Pj Harvey! Last edited by iksosept; 06-23-2016 at 09:13 AM. |

Metallica x2
Testament Black Label Society Down Lamb Of God Ozzy Osbourne Tenacious D HIM Anathema Trivium Cancer Bats Judas Priest Megadeth Jimmy Eat World Bon Jovi Linkin Park Nickleback Staind Smashing Pumpkins QOTSA Alkaline Trio In Flames Thats all I can think of at the top of my head, there are more though. It's hard to say which was the best, probably Down, BLS or Inflames. At Down we met Pepper Keenan, he was so sound! Trivium was surprisingly good too, but I made the mistake of wearing a corset that opened at the back, so was standing topless for alot of it. At the barrier when Matt Heafy jumped down, he just winked at me. I was totally let down with the Pumpkins, they put NO soul in to it. You could tell a mile off they didn't want to be there. (Last time they played in Ireland some woman died in the Pitt, so they were banned playing here for 10 years or something. ) Last edited by XMyHeresyX; 02-04-2009 at 06:53 AM. |

yeah well, but everybody seemed to have come for the second last band, so while the Smashing Pumpkins were playing, there were huge amounts of people leaving the crowd.. that was awkward and probably really strange for SP themselves, but with tv broadcasting they still had to put on a good show. and I enjoyed the space to dance you can see at the very beginning (0:08-0:13), there's a lot of space between different people, maybe it doesn't look that bad, but if you compare how fucking crowded it had been before.. well Last edited by iksosept; 02-04-2009 at 11:14 AM. |

No they weren't banned, they played the Olympia in 2000 before they split. But yeah the RDS show was a bit of a dissapointment, they were just going through the motions and Billy was up his own arse
