If you were that bored before the internet you are severely lacking in any imagination.

and if you can't spot a lighthearted / humorous back and forth on the internet you are severly lacking in cognitive reasoning. :p:

It was a good list with great guitarists. You are missing some better ones though. Jimi Hendrix is definitely at the top not because of his records, but his stage presence. The guitar came alive in his hands and he spanked its ass. The greatest guitarists arent necessarily the most skilled. Their influence on Music is the greatest key. George Harrison, Greg Allman, Chuck Berry, and even Jeff Beck influenced many of todays (good) bands. Although music today can suck a fat one.

Ok, no one bite my head off, im just kind of mindlessly curious here. I know very little about guitarists and when i asked my guitar-idolizing brother this question he just gave a funny look....

What would happen if it were possible for Jimi Hendrix and Buckethead to get together? Assuming buckethead actually talked, and setting most reality aside, don't you think they would come up with something completely and totally mind blowing?? idk, just a thought.

tbh i think they'd start arguing at first over the direction in which they wanted to go, but soon after would put their arguing aside and create something really good, but strangely lacking, although i can't really put my finger on what exactly.

but then again, i'm more into Bumblefoot than Buckethead, really.
