Default I just found a little known album...

I was rummaging around my collection today and stumbled upon a VERY old album. Pink Floyd's Obscured by Clouds is absolutely fantastic. I can't get enough of it, and it doesn't sound like anything else they've done (well, perhaps Meddle).

I don't mean to act pretentious, but does anyone else have something like that: a good album by a band that somehow got unnoticed? I'm always into discovering new music, and it would be great to hear people share their hidden gems.

It's by Pink Floyd, it's not THAT unknown.

This thread seems kinda pointless to me, I'll give it a while but if it goes nowhere I'll lock it.

I don't mean to be an ass but he was just saying he really liked it.. and even though we all know PF is really big and known maybe he just heard of them, at least he is headed in the right direction... and not the new Soulja Boy side where music lacks skill and passion... but that's a whole other thread..

I've been listening to Pink Floyd for five years. I have the original LPs for most of their records (and the remastered CDs for every other record) and I consider myself a fan. I...was just never fan enough before to listen to their offbeat film scores.

But hey, at least I'm headed in the right direction, right?
