From what i know of your taste, Polvo, Unwound (especially Leaves Turn Inside You) and Viv Akauldren would probably appeal to you. Gray Matter are hardcore punk as are Saccharine trust though their later albums experiment heavily with jazz, Mesa Verde screamo, HEALTH noise, Boris sludge/stoner/garage rock... all are amazing hence they're on my list, i'd check them all.

And mirror, that wasnt directed at you, i was just making a general observation.

rocky things get dull after a while (GET IT?). i for one can't stand bands like AC/DC, Motorhead & others. shit gets boring.

the Stooges are wonderful though.

Well i'm not suggesting people have to listen to AC/DC or Motorhead. I'm not even saying the artists on that list are bad, I have albums by all of them. All i'm saying is that you can count the all the rock songs done by about 75% of that list on one hand.

I mean The Smiths didn't rock, it was more of a jangly mince.
