Anyone who thinks metallica is in anyway better than megadeth needs to be shot.... in the groin! Megadeth have so much more intensity and anger, REAL ANGER!!! Metallica come across to their MTV audience as a hardcore bunch of out of control rock legends, when in fact all the word metallica says to me is: Lars Ulrich (who never shuts up) and James Hetfield (who is the hardest looking pussy wannabe ive ever seen!) bitching at each other and scaring the public every so often by announcing that they might split up "PUBLICITY SCAM POSSIBLY!?" Sure Megadeth made a huge mistake with Risk, but come on people, if you want to hate them for that when even though it is a ****e album and far too pop, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU CALL THAT SORRY PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN EP ST ANGER!? No solos, no passion, too perfect because it's just been played too safe. Megadeth are far more technically better as musicians and with a frontman like the legend that is Dave Mustaine, if it's agressive hardcore heavy metal your after... look no further. Sure the early metallica was brilliant, you know why? well do you? thats right because it was mostly stolen from Dave! I'm not gonna badmouth metallica and say theyre ****, because it's become cool to hate them in most rock and metal cultures, but beacuse i genuinly know that Megadeth are better in every aspect, and have never come close to selling out like Metallica have... Metallica is good from time to time, but given the choice it's Megadeth every time!!!

And another thing to all those *******s who spell it megadeAth... **** you!!!
Can't you people ****ing read, and how can you say Metallica is better when you clearly havent listened to enough Megadeth because you can't even spell the bloody name right!

I love Megadeth, don't get me wrong. Megadeth all the way. But if you're going to sit there and say they have true anger, then I will share a little secret with you. Go check out the band Strapping Young Lad, then get back to me about anger.

if you threw each bands albums into the same pile, more than likly the top 5 albums (out of the whole thing) would be MOP, AJFA, RTL, Peace Sells, and then Self titled from metallica (not that im saying I'd pick it, but alot of newbs wold pick that one).

i think in the time metallica had such sounds as MOP, Justice for all and Ride the lightening the energy and potential was more powerful in my opinion in such a short burst (obviously not lasting) than megadeth...but if its all true about how Dave came up with a lot of the riffs then perhaps the over all best band in ones opinion is megadeth...but for Dave to be in metallica the style and riffs that were come up with would be very much like the likes of James and Kirk...I think both bands have had a good run...but because of the changes in metallica's sound they are thought to have ''sold out''...i think Daves falling out in the band and Cliffs tragic death just was all bad luck...bad luck that would never turn to good luck... congrads to Megadeth (Basically Dave) for all the years pf metal despite all the b u l l s h i t...their downfall was all the member changes...

My problem with megadeth is that the reason the band was founded by Mustaine in the first place was because he was so pissed that he got kicked out of metallica(for being aways intoxicated and irrational of course)and thought he could do better, megadeth to me has aways seemed to try too hard to be like metallica, the musicians are more skilled but the songwriting, chemstry and overall musical quality dosen't match up in my opinion.
