I think that a lot of mainstream music has followed what the masses want, not the other way around.

It's impossible to argue with anyone who holds a different belief than you so these people haven't made a single valid point to me at all.

In fact...I gotta take care of buisness soon

I THINK what you mean, maybe, is that in recent times the MOOD of HM has gotten very doomy, gloomy and bishroomie (sorry!) , with a lot of bands focussing on the darker areas of life, but then the metal we knew in our youth (well, I did in mine) has now fragmented into so many different sub-genres --- doom, death, thrash, power, black, viking... again, the list goes on.

There are a lot of really good Heavy Metal bands still making "upbeat" music, like Dragonforce, Hammerfall etc, and of course Maiden are still around. I wouldn't say it's ALL dark...
Really good and Dragonforce does not a good sentence make. Metal diverged in the 80's. It is not a recent phenomonen, the scene just got muddier with good bands being even harder to spot and drag themselves from the quagmire.

i Guess its the lyrics lately, i mean i like the sound of the heavy guitars and that, but the screaming just keeps me away xD but they usually have lyrics like 'no hope' and 'kill god' soo it doesn't really surprise me when they act like that, o h btw i'm new here xD so hi people!

"so ya."

Thanks for that.

Let them devil worship. The rest of the people who don't have daddy issues will be saved from a genre of music they might have given a shot to we're it not for the all-or-nothing fan boys of the genres flag-bearer brigade.

I don't get what your saying. I'm a christian and I listen to both christian and not christian bands. But nice video of Blood Good haven't heard them in a while. any way this kind of metal is dead not because people don't like it but because no one can sing like that anymore. The last true metal band in my opinion is Dragen Force.
I also like Blood Good, Stryper, Dragon Force, Demon Hunter, Avenged Seven Fold, Atryu, and much more.

I guess metal AND spelling aren't cool anymore. No offense, but that's a pretty ****ty list
