Default STP reunion- The fallout

Now that Scott's gone back to STP (IF he can stay out of rehab) does this mean that a GnR comeback is possible?
I know from the press that Slash isn't too impressed, and says they'll look for a new singer.
If GnR ever play together again, which I'd bet money they will, it'll be the last incarnation of the band. You'll never see Adler and Izzy back.

Predictions?

Well now that Robin Finck is back in NIN, Slash should just deal with it and rejoin GnR.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHA

we've got a better chance of seeing james brown headling coachella next year than slash and axl getting back together.

izzy and adler? who? izzy left before the illusions were done being recorded. adler coudln't stay clean enough to record on those albums. he might have cleaned up now but almost 2 decades later do you really think duff and slash want to ditch the drummer that was able to keep it together when they needed it most?

izzy rejoining either axl or slash would be MASSIVE. take good look at the credits, he was as prolific as axl.

besides, it's not like slash and duff didn't hold auditions for vocalists before settling on weiland a few years ago. i still think todd kearns from the age of electric could work really well as a frontman for them, and he doesn't have a history of heroin abuse.

In a Guitar magazine interview, Slash says Izzy was the other guitar player in VR right up until they started auditioning singers. Then he took off, he's too jaded from his experiences with Axl.

can't really say i blame him. wouldn't be surprised if it was more of a reaction to the band favoring taking another frontman with a reputation for having issues.
