My son listens to disturbed (metal, album, Linkin Park, members)

I can't kill him, so I think I need to find something to replace those bands. Something extraordinarily better. I don't know how far I'll get him away from this "pop" radio music style, but I'd like to try. Also, no heavy metal.

It's really annoying to talk to him about music, I really need some help. He's in seventh grade and it's pretty vital to him that the music is "cool" and not "emo".

There's gotta be soemthing out there, right?

Hun you should let him listen to it but tell him that he will listen to it without you present or you learn to keep your mouth shut when he listens to his music. Have you heard from him shut your music off or any of that stuff believe me he feels the same way as you do. I would let him be.

I listen to the music and I am still young. Just remember your parents did the same thing to you so try not to be so sensitive to the music.
