Show him the music that you like and try to get him to spill why he listens to his music and how he relates to it, if you can get him to realize he listens to it because it's trendy then he'll realize that he's got to find something that he really likes; sadly this leaves a chance that he actually sees something in Disturbed.

It is if you sprinkle the right kind of salt of your CD before you play it.
Still doesn't change the fact that rap(modern at least) just blows. EDIT: Okay, I might sound like a bit of a hypocrite but I don't really care. I just heard Rebel Without A Pulse by Public Enemy and it's really good. I really thought crappy artists like 50 Cent and Eminem were the only rap out there.

Hey cmon..soad and disturbed aren't THAT bad.
I'm sure every1 here would have listened to them one time or the other in their life They do have some good music...just that it gets old real quick. Be happy he doesn't listen to stuff like souljaboy, or any of that pop cr@p. |

You shouldn't dictate what your kids listen to. That just makes you no better than the religious parents who wouldn't let their kids listen to rock n roll back in the 50s.
Do try to expand their horizons though. Introduce them to some different stuff, even if its stuff you don't like yourself. Anythings better than Disturbed. |
